The Students’ Movement in Brazil From 1964 To 1984

The student movement was relevant in Brazil during the period from 1964 to 1984, when fought against the arbitrariness and violence that occurred in the military dictatorship at the political, social (education), economic and cultural spheres. The importance of this group will be demonstrated from the study of actions, articulations of students throughout the aforementioned period based on literature and texts that bring information and data carried out by public universities with the participation of students from private colleges during the military dictatorship that lasted twenty years and spread throughout Brazilian states. This article presents the different phases experienced by the student movement from 1961 to 1984, which are marked by expressions of freedom, resistance, silencing and resumption, respectively. These elements embodied the different political moments the country went through during the military dictatorship and how it had repercussions on the performance of students in each of the stages according to the political changes occurred in Brazil.

My Consent Not Respected: Bodily and Sexual Seals in University Students Victims of Sexual Violence

This research sought to identify possible consequences and impacts on corporeality and sexuality in students who have suffered sexual violence within the university context. The methodology was qualitative in nature and included eleven undergraduate and graduate students from public universities in the interior of the State of São Paulo, who participated in semi structured interviews, based on visual methods, which were done in remote format. The instruments used were: i) Questionnaire for characterization of the participants; ii) Semi-structured interview script, including the Timeline technique and body cartography. The results show that the students were exposed to several scenarios of violence in the university context, experiences that produced different levels of impact on the physical, psycho-emotional, academic, interpersonal relationships, and difficulties in connecting with their sexuality and their bodies after the aggression. The intention of universities should be directed at reducing the impact of trauma, avoiding revictimization, working on the prevention of any damage in the most vulnerable population of the university.

Non-Judicial and Judicial Jurisdictional Control of Public Health Policies

This is an article that, using the exploratory qualitative method for data collection, aims to discuss the control of public health policies from the perspective of jurisdictional control of the dispensation of high-cost health treatments by the Unified Health System, analyzing this issue from the angle of budget programming, the implementation of social public health policies and the constitutional competence of external control bodies. It seeks to establish parameters for judicial action and, taking into account the principle of separation of powers and the theory of institutional capacities, it is concluded that only the dialogical construction of government actions through an objective process of cooperation that must include data concrete aspects of legal demands (the profile of legal demands in the area of public health, the financial impact of complying with legal demands relating to public health within the Union, the Federal District, states and municipalities, the measures taken to improve performance of the Judiciary in processes related to sanitary law and public health, the actions of the Ministry of Health and the state and municipal health departments to understand and mitigate the negative effects of the judicialization of health) is capable of bringing a solution to the problem.

Recursal Interest Without Gravam

The present essay employs the classic concept about the appellate interest, adding to it the idea of transcendence of the need for encumbrance in the face of inadequate grounds. In a modern civil process, ordered, disciplined and interpreted according to the Federal Constitution, the fundamental values and norms justify the revisiting of old concepts, especially in view of the instrumentality and the manifest public interest in maintaining peace and social security, strong in the objective of provide assistance quickly and efficiently.

The Paratopie within Conceição Evaristo's literary discourse

This paper aims to analyze the paratopia within Conceição Evaristo's literary discourse in the text “A gente combinamos de não morrer”, from the perspective of the Literary Discourse conceptualized by Maingueneau, in order to approach it through the interdisciplinarity between literature and linguistics. For the concept of paratopie, we again use Maingueneau's definitions and we were able to find three that are revealed more explicitly in the text: the paratopie of race, womenand space. In addition, special attention is drawn to the character Bica, who likes to write about her experience, emboding not only the concept of escrevivência but also the creative paratopie itself.
