DIALETOLOGIA E GEOLINGUÍSTICA: UMA ANÁLISE COMPARATIVA DO LÉXICO DO ATLAS DO AMAZONAS E DO ATLAS DA REGIÃO SUL DO BRASIL

Resumen

RESUMO: Este artigo propõe uma comparação entre os campos semânticos do Atlas Linguístico do Amazonas (ALAM) e do Atlas Linguístico-Etnográfico da Região Sul (ALERS), analisando as lexias diferentes para um mesmo referente nos atlas e apresentando um estudo etimológico dos léxicos mais contrastantes. Será realizada a descrição dos atlas, fazendo uso de critérios da sociolinguística. A metodologia utilizada consiste em pesquisa bibliográfica, utilizando publicações acerca do tema abordado. O trabalho retrata um breve histórico da Dialetologia e da Sociolinguística. Conclui-se que a língua é heterogênea, apresentando variantes que são condicionadas por fatores de natureza social, regional ou de estilo.       

ABSTRACT: This paper proposes a comparison between the semantic fields of the Linguistic Atlas of Amazonas (ALAM) and the Linguistic Atlas-Ethnographic of the Southern Region (ALERS), analyzing the different lexis for the same referent in both atlas and presenting an etymological study of the more contrasting lexicons. A description of both atlas will be carried out, making use of the criteria of sociolinguistics. The methodology consists in scientific literature, using publications about the topic covered. The work depicts a brief history of Dialectology and Sociolinguistics. We conclude that the language is heterogeneous, with variants which are conditioned by social, regional or style factors.
