Abstract

This book seeks to address the vast and complex history of Brazilian cinema. Following a timeline from the beginnings of cinema to the most recent films, it brings a significant plurality of researchers, methodologies and approaches from the start of national production, in 1895, to the most recent cinema of 2016.
