For “grasping” the aesthetic experience: situation, mediations and materialities

Abstract

The article aims at the analysis of three constitutive dimensions as forms to grasp the aesthetic experience in the field of Communication: the situation, the social mediations and materialities. It demonstrates that – from the analytic exploration of these tree elements - it is possible to identify pragmatic-performative skills that are symptoms of the aesthetic experience. Such skills are expressively manifested expressively and, therefore, constitute a privileged object of study for Communication researchers.
