A tale Care in times of crisis

when power fits like a glove

Abstract

The aim of this conceptual experimental reflection is to complicate the conception of care of self and others in a world marked by the tragedy related to the expected and unexpected effects of violence paradoxically committed to peace for civilization. Therefore, I seek to problematize the inoperability of the aesthetic care of existence, proposed by Foucault, in the face of the effective mobilization of salvationist power, which can be genealogically linked to pastoral power. To this end, tragedy is thought of as technological and political manipulation, allegorically worked out, based on Derrida's zoopolitics, from the figure of the hands of wolves that, by wearing sheep's gloves, align themselves with the moral normativity instantiated by the providential mix between religious and state-political conservatism. On the other hand, the ethical-political inoperability of the aesthetic care of existence is thought of under the modulation of resistance as the endurance of conglomerates threatened by imperialism.
