This text deals with the issue of the aesthetics of existence and the courage of truth, based on the intersection between philosophy and Ghawazee style belly dancing. The objective is to point out the similarities between the cynical way of life and the Ghawazee dance, based on the notions of courage of truth and aesthetics of existence. Initially, the text addresses cynicism from a Foucauldian perspective, especially from the course The Courage of Truth. It then analyzes Ghawazee-style belly dancing and its dancers, historically contextualizing the dance in Egypt and its influences on Egyptian culture. Finally, the text investigates the convergences between dance and philosophy, highlighting the aesthetics of existence and its connection with the courage of truth.
